Triathlon Programs & Coaching

We provide coaching for all distances, from Sprint to Ironman, as well as single sport – swim bike or run. Our coaches tailor each program to you, so that it aligns with your goals and fits in with your life. The customisation of each program gives you the best possible chance of achieving your triathlon goals.

We provide 9 coached sessions per week with the option to attend squad training, where it suits you. You will receive unlimited access to your coach, including face to face contact at squad and via phone / email.

THE PROGRAM

  • 20week Specific Phase Program – From late January to Race Day June 14th
  • Individual training plan with access to all Fluid Squad sessions and our Online community. Program delivery via Training Peaks.
    This includes access to training camps, specific training blocks and unlimited access to your coaches.

RACE WEEK EXPERIENCE

Since its inception our athletes have loved being a part of our Cairns Club race week, each year we average around 30 athletes across the IM & 70.3 distances at Cairns. The enhanced Club and coaching support all race week is the perfect way to finish off the preparation, giving the athletes extra confidence going into their big day knowing we were all in this together.
This has translated into strong individual results at World Champ level, inc.
  • Qualified 21athletes for Ironman World Championships over the past few years.
  • 2x Ironman World Champions - Vanessa Murray 2021 (St George) 2023 (Hawaii).
  • 5th Place podium 40-44F – Jenny Zenker 2023 (Hawaii Ironman WC).
  • 4th Place podium 25-29F – Grace Joel 2025 (Hawaii Ironman WC).

Melbourne Tri Club & Fluid Beginners / Triathlon Skills Course

6 Week Course 

Tri Skills and Fitness 

A great way to introduce yourself to triathlon or to build on the skills you already have within a like-minded group.
We will increase your base level of fitness, work on swim, bike & run technique, open water swim technique, teach you how to get through transition as fast as possible, all to get you race ready all in a fun, supportive and friendly environment. The course goal will be race 6 of the 2XU Tri Series at ST Kilda.

Training Schedule

  • Mon 6-7am – BIKE @ Albert Park / Richmond Bvd
  • Wed 6-7am – BRICK @ Albert Park / Richmond Bvd
  • Fri 6-7am – OPEN WATER SWIM @ Port Melbourne

  • Aus Tri Insurance coverage provided at BASIC membership level for TRAINING and coverage at One Day Licence level for 1 x event during the 8 Week Trial period ($35).

INDIVIDUAL PROGRAM AND MONTHLY 1:1 SESSION

After a comprehensive movement assessment, to determine the key areas to work on, you will receive a tailored strength program designed to compliment your triathlon training, delivered via Train Heroic AND a monthly 30min one on one session at the Fluid Studio with Lyndsey to check in, review your form to ensure you're safely performing the prescribed exercises.

INDIVIDUAL PROGRAM AND WEEKLY 1:1 SESSION

After a comprehensive movement assessment, to determine the key areas to work on, you will receive a weekly 1:1 30min strength session with Lyndsey at the Fluid Studio plus a second session to follow via the Train Heroic App (designed around the equipment you have access to)
